The EU’s evolving framework for standard-essential patents
Part II: The essentiality, validity, and infringement of declared SEPs
INVITATION
30 November 2021 from 15h to 16h30 CET
This webinar is the second event in our series on the European Union’s (EU) evolving framework for standard-essential patents (SEPs). Our panel will discuss important aspects about the determination of the essentiality, validity, and infringement of declared SEPs, and recent proposals concerning, for example, establishing a system of SEP essentially checks. We will particularly focus on how these issues may affect small innovative businesses and approach the EU could consider to address SEP abuse.
