“There’s an infinite number of reasons to celebrate Pi Day today. Here are my three favorite slices of pi:
- Pi Day is an opportunity to remind ourselves of the importance of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education in our lives and for our future.
- STEM education is also responsible for shaping the minds of the next generation of innovators in the app economy, and as we see it, our future App Association members. Our members are changing lives and driving the innovations that improve productivity, accelerate learning, deliver entertainment, and promote healthier lifestyles. We must work to empower the future innovators who will be driving the technology of tomorrow.
- STEM talent grows small businesses. Thirty-seven percent of STEM graduates are employed by small businesses. On Pi Day today, let’s celebrate STEM’s role in creating a better future for all.
