Statement from ACT | The App Association on the announced U.S. – U.K. Trade Deal

Stephen Tulip
‘Our members broadly welcome the trade announcement. Closer trade relations between the United States and UK will provide a boost for UK tech small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The U.S. market is key for many app developers in the UK. The proposed U.S.–UK technological partnership could act as a springboard to boost access to the U.S. marketplace creating new opportunities for our members and the wider UK tech ecosystem.
‘It is encouraging to see that the Government is both committed to growing the UK economy and recognises the importance of the tech sector in delivering on that commitment. The App Association looks forward to continuing to work with the Government to ensure the best possible deal is secured for our members and all UK tech SMEs’.
