Our members are innovators who develop mobile technology products that power the growth of the internet of things (IoT) across multiple sectors of the economy. As a global organisation for small-to-medium technology enterprises (SMEs), we work with industry leaders and entrepreneurial innovators who develop products and services that improve productivity, accelerate learning, deliver entertainment, and promote healthier lifestyles. Together, we represent the growing diversity of the global technology ecosystem.
Our mission in the United Kingdom (UK)
- Provide valuable guidance, events, and insight to our growing community of UK tech innovators, including app developers and IoT manufacturers
- To act as a leading industry voice on the app economy to policymakers and the global business community
- Create an environment where innovative internet of things (IoT) businesses can thrive, driving UK prosperity
- Promote awareness amongst tech SMEs about how the use of patented and standardised technologies aid innovation
- Champion transparent access to standard-essential patents (SEPs) for SMEs under fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory (FRAND) terms
