Economy Conference: EU 2025
Our inaugural App Economy Conference in the European Union took place in Brussels, home to the European Parliament, European Commission, and Council of the European Union from the 23-26th of March 2025.
This in-person activation united technology executives and innovators from across the EU. In line with EU policymakers’ regulatory priorities for 2025, we covered crucial topics ranging from competition policy, including mergers, acquisitions, platform regulation, and standard-essential patent licensing, to the AI Act and related legislation, as well as privacy and cybersecurity.

Economy Conference: UK 2025
This in-person activation event united technology founders and innovators from across the United Kingdom. In line with UK policymakers’ regulatory priorities for 2025, we covered crucial topics ranging from competition policy, including mergers, acquisitions, platform regulation, and standard-essential patent licensing, to the proposed AI framework and related discussions, as well as privacy.
On Monday, 31 March 2025, we also hosted a drop-in demo and drinks reception at Parliament. Members of Parliament (MPs), Lords, Civil Service officials, and their staff learned more about our members’ businesses and the tech ecosystem throughout the UK.
