Who We Are:

ACT|The App Association is an international organization for small and medium-sized technology companies. We believe that apps are literally and figuratively changing lives, and that small businesses drive the innovations that improve productivity, accelerate learning, deliver entertainment, and promote healthier lifestyles.

Our members include custom software developers, educational app developers, IT consultants, government contractors, mHealth companies, service providers, and more. Together we represent the diversity of the growing technology ecosystem. We’ve been around since 1998, bringing government officials and small and medium technology companies together to help them better understand each other.

Our mission is simple. We work with our members to promote an environment that inspires and rewards innovation while providing resources that help them raise capital, create jobs, and continue creating incredible technology.

What We Do:

We are our members’ network to success, ticket to involvement, source for policy news, and, most importantly, voice in Washington D.C., Brussels, and across the world. We leverage the power of storytelling through meetings, policy analysis, and testimony to educate policymakers on issues critical to our members and the app economy, and we think you should be a part of it.
