Global AppCon’22: Competition and Privacy
May 22 – 24, 2022

Throughout the last several years, regulators and policymakers have been taking a hard look at “big tech” while raising concerns about competition in digital marketplaces. With the release of the Digital Markets Act (DMA) in Europe and the package of antitrust bills in the United States Congress, competition regulation is no longer a theoretical action, but rather a complex set of global regulations (at varying levels of implementation) that will change how the app economy functions on an international level. Join us for AppCon’22 (our first global AppCon!) for a discussion of the various proposals within the DMA and the key antitrust actions in the United States as well as potential or proposed competition actions globally and their impact on privacy.
