Tech Innovators Applaud Passage of the Innovation Act

Morgan Reed, Executive Director of the Association for Competitive Technology, issued the following statement in support of the House passage of H.R. 3309, the Innovation Act.

Small tech companies are pleased to see widespread support in Washington for legislation that helps them fight back against unscrupulous litigators. We heard from many of our members about this problem and are thankful that Congress has taken steps to address these concerns while preserving intellectual property rights for legitimate patent holders.

ACT members addressed their support for the Innovation Act (Letter 1, Letter 2) and their suggestions were adopted in the final version of the bill.
