Our friend Andrew Noyes attempts to answer that question for the Tech industry over at National Journal’s Tech Daily Dose. Thankfully, SCOTUS had our backs this session. The Court helped to raise the bar for patentability and lessen the value of junk patents that have already made it through the system. As our Morgan Reed suggests in the article, "the tech sector won big with KSR because the court ruled that ‘common sense could play a role in the examination of the ‘obviousness’ standard.’"
